Year over year sales figures don't care about your opinion. Sedans and other cars, on the whole, are doing worse now than they were before. The Camry & Accord are no longer the best selling vehicles at Toyota & Honda. I believe that honour passed to the Rav4 & CR-V several months ago.
Declining sedan sales doesn't mean the cars aren't good. Just that people really,
really want crossovers. I don't know why people want crossovers that badly, but they do.
