First you HAVE to get rid of those credit cards and don't allow them to be used. I know your situation I have been there with my wife. If you can I would say consolidate the cc into one monthly payment, thats what I had my wife do. Second, I would say get his and her bank accounts. This is the only way to make her learn and do not and I repeat DO NOT bail her out. Once she is struggling making her ends meet then she will realize the error of her ways. You have to treat your financial situation as you would a business otherwise you will end up with tons of problems.

My wife was constantly pissed but once she got control and realized how much I helped her in the long run she is very happy and don't worry about not making ends meet. We make mid 100s combined also and she spent the same way. It doesn't matter if you can bring more money into the household if you don't get whats putting you into this situation under control first. Just cause you can make more money doesn't mean you will have any if you can' manage it.
