I am closing a deal on a 2017 Summit White 1SS. I am trading in my 2016 Mustang Ecoboost. I previously owned two 5th Gen Camaro's. Synergy Green SS and a 'vert.
I really enjoyed my Mustang. My first actually after years of hating Mustangs. I test drove both the V8 and the Ecoboost. The latter felt more nimble around the city which is the reason for my choice. Ironically, I went to Chevy prior to my decision two years ago for a 2016 Camaro and the sales experience was horrible. So, I simply walked across the street to a Ford dealership.
I've lived in Tucson for only two years and these two years have made me question about my feelings about the longevity of my enjoyment with the Mustang especially with how quick it gets heat soaked during 70% of the weather in Arizona. Looked at the 2018 Mustang and the interior is my biggest gripe with the Mustang. I love the body style, but the interior is not very driver focused in my own personal opinion. I don't know why individuals say that the Mustang interior is better and the Camaro is bland. I think Chevy did everything I wish they did on the 5th Gen and loved how the interior is all about the driver.
So, once my car comes down from Phoenix to my dealership here in Tucson either Saturday or Monday I will sign my paperwork. Just wanted to say hello to everyone.
P.S. If any Camaro owners are in Tucson and do meetups, send me a message.
