If it's a show car, than that's a whole nother ball game. From the original post, I made my observations. Rice is used in this context by myself and people around me when referring to rice-rockets, aka import racers. Cars built for handling still have engine mods to go fast and not just intake/exhaust/bodykit/wing.
Also, Evos aren't rice off the line.

Never heard of this, but it's an interesting concept. I would have to venture that the "E" stands for excrement because it's inspired but does absolutely nothing, and normally looks like crap because ricers (not tuners/showcar owners) take very little care in applying it or keeping it maintained (mismatched paint, primered, zipties, etc.)
