Howdy from Central Texas

I'm new to this site but not new to Camaro's. I own a 30th Anniversary Edition (RPO Z4C) Z28, T-tops, 6 speed manual that's almost completely stock. I'm on a couple of other Camaro forums but not very active.

Been thinking of selling ol' '97 and moving up to a 2LT 5th gen so here to gather information on things to know before making the switch. I know a guy with a '14 LS and he seems to know less about the car than I do.

My brother auto-x's his 1970 Chevy Nova in San Diego and it's something I'd be interested in on a limited basis. I've looked at the FE4 upgrades and 1LE suspension upgrades. I like a car that can turn corners, not so much that goes fast in a straight line for 1/8th or 1/4 mile at a time. My wife has a '15 Mini Cooper S that is a blast to drive but we don't need two of them at the house. I like corner carving but would also drive it around to run errands. I have a take home car for work so don't use my own to commute. Road trips are great too.

I also have two motorcycles, one for street and one for off road though it's a dual sport (street legal dirt bike). I might be getting out of that too as my back just can't take it much anymore. Sucks getting older.

So here I am, gleaning information from all of you. If you're around the Austin, TX, area then we may run into each other.
