The service manual says the MM6 (TR6060) takes Manual Transmission Fluid (88861800), which is basically Dexron III. The M13 (TR3160?....Non V8 cars) states to use Dexron VI. GM also states that Dexron VI is an approved replacement for Dexron III applications. I have used 88861800, Dexron III, and Dexron VI and have found aftermarket fluids to perform better in every case. I am using Redline D4 in both my 2010 and my 2016 and it's perfect. I am also a fan of my friends CTS-V that he runs RP Syncromaxx. I have changed another friends 2016 manual over to Syncromaxx as well, and it works great. IMHO, those are the only 2 fluids that make these trans shift perfectly. I have over 130K on the 2010 and about 7K on the 2016. Myself and all my friends track their cars with these fluids and have had no issues at all. Redline D4 or RP Syncromaxx, you won't regret it.
