I would do the 3.6. My dad has a 2014 ATS with the 3.6 and it is a blast to drive( or was before getting my Camaro SS now which I am spoiled by that V8). The 2.0T in the ATS loses its punch above 5000 RPM and sounds like crap IMHO once pushed above 3000-4000 RPM. The 3.6 takes regular gas if that matters and will have less things to go wrong since it is naturally aspirated.
