When that dealer pulled the cover off of the new Chevy's it was eventful. You took it or left it. People, no matter which brand would flock to these. I know, internet has made that useless. It is now appreciated or trashed by the internet. Back then you had a Thursday nite of free drinks and sandwiches to sit around and bash/ defend the car that was revealed. My Dad was invited to these. You had to buy a new Chevy vehicle in the past year or be a very good friend of the dealer. My Dad was both. When the covers flew of those cars it was eventful or Move along. To see the 2nd gen Camaro revealed was a trip! This was going to be the Camaro of the future . The 1st gen was so cool and to do a total wild 69 style was a hard to take. It was found out though really be the right choice. I see the 6th Gen to be in the categories to make cars that will sell, I get that. Come on Chevy, make the 10 year old kid go, I will own that car when I grow up.
