The 4.10's are now out of my '66. After much deliberation and guidance from the installer, I went with the stock gear ratio. I've received some negative criticism (surprisingly quite a bit!) but one must understand that I seemingly do all highway driving in that car.
It now has a 3.07 posi. Instead of RPM's moving the car, torque from the 427 moves it. Feels like an entirely different car that does not run on the hot side, uses less gas, and I can now comfortably keep up with the highway traffic.
