For over 40 years my life depended on firearms, 1st career was as a United States Marine and the 2nd as a LEO. I am guessing this molded me into who I am today. For me it's very relaxing to go out and shoot for the day. My personal concealed carry is a Browning 1911 380 loaded with "Civil Defense" rounds. These lead free rounds made by Liberty Ammunition was developed shortly after 9/11. I use specifically this round in my 380, 9MM, 40, and 45 caliber handguns. The deliver increased velocity, accuracy and barrier penetration. 2 X the velocity and 3 X the terminal effect. In the 380 caliber round, don't be fooled when you read it's a 50 grain round! It travels at 1,500 FPS and is known as a "deep cavity projectile". I own and enjoy shooting my various H&Ks, the VP9 being one of the best I have ever shot. My local range (one mile from home) allows me to shoot up to 500 yards. I have a Smith & Wesson AR15, that I purchased new and have totally rebuilt the girl. This has to be one of the most accurate long guns I have ever fired for ranges up to 500 yards. Comes very close to the old Springfield M14 I was first issued many years ago. I have had the barrel, trigger assembly and bolt modified with accuracy being the main goal. The ACOG brings it all together. I can not forget one very important handgun that I have nearby when working outside, that is the "Judge"! That girl chambers the 410 shotgun round and I have named her the "snake charmer". Just yesterday I shot 3 of those slithery devils within a 30 minutes span.
