Very sad, but yeah there's nothing to keep in "perspective" here. Usually that phrase is used when you're talking about something in relativity to something else to gauge its magnitude. For example, "The Camaro driver was acting like an idiot. For perspective, a witness stated he was doing donuts prior to the crash." I think you're confusing it to too broadly mean a "lesson". Perspective can lead to learning lessons, but not all lessons are due to perspective.

You mean "must be kept in consideration." Again, there is no relative comparison or interrelation being drawn between two things from which to draw a perspective.
