Not too sure to many owners are going to cut up their $100,000 cars to put in a cage either...

More marketing fail is how they call it "the fastest production car". It's not even close...fast = speed, top speed of this will be far off many high end cars. From what I read, top speed is lower than the Hellcat. If they were referring to the trap speed, they are wrong there too, as the P1, LaFerrari and 918 all trap higher. Maybe it is the quickest in the 1/4 mile now, that is what they should have said...at least until the new Bugatti Chiron is tested. That is rumored to run low 9's.

Again, cool car, questionable execution.
Um, doesn't NHRA require a 4 or 5 point roll bar to even run 11's? Just because you have to install a cage or roll bar to be compliant at an NHRA track does NOT make the car a fail.

Actually, it's pretty badass that you DO have to put a cage in it from the factory to run 9's at an NHRA track. What street legal GM cars have ever come with cages AND that could run 9's right off the showroom floor?

And, they were talking fastest production car at the STRIP, not overall.
