Yeah, we hit it off immediately. He's a great instructor. I was serious when I said I should have listened to him more. Being unfamiliar with the car, I initially overestimated its braking ability. Then, underestimated it.
This was the 1.8 mile course, so it's hard to fine similar lap times for other cars/drivers. In fact, it was the first time I'd ever done this particular configuration.
My first lap was 1:32, 2nd was 1:33. Pretty sure a 1:2x would be possible with a little more car familiarity.
