This winter, swapping out the all-seasons with a set of studded winter tires, and my TPMS reset tool that I use for all of my other GM vehicles will not reprogram the TPMS on the Chevy Express.

I'm using the EL-50448 hand tool for the reset.

Does this car use a different kind of TPMS tool for some reason?
Is it equipped with TPMS? The 3500 trucks do not have TPMS, I would imagine the Express wouldn't be any different. One way I check is the valve stem. If it's all rubbery and can be bent it doesn't have the correct valve stem for TPMS. If it only slightly bends at the base where it goes into the rim it has the correct valve stem.
