Ok here is why it's financially good in my case.
Cost to upgrade after selling my M5 is $20K
I am just about to drop $5K on the M5 to refresh suspension, refinish wheels and upgrade the stereo
So that puts net upgrade at $15K
Not sure how familiar folks are with the long term maintenance costs for a car like this but I can tell you that $15K will be spent in 4-5 years if all goes well. So at that point youbpaid for the SS and guaranteed it will be worth more than a 140K mile 20 year old M5.
