heres a story... I will try to make it as short as possible.
ok the VA ABC did their usual checking stores for Checking IDs... Ok fair enough.... well the employee working at that time checked the id and thought it said 81 instead of 91 or something to that effect.....
luckily it was cigs and it didn't have any impact on me or the store ... or so I thought..... about a month ago I get a letter from the main cig company saying that they are pulling my funding and promotions and merchandise payments for one month because of that. I was like WTF
said that since it was the first time they had a program called the Bars program. they send people out that are old enough but you have to card them to pass anyway.... easyenough or should have been.... They were to come 3 times... they came the first time and we got a green card (pass) came the second time and the employee said it was an older man that asked for a pack of cigars and she got them and put them on the counter and before shecould do or say anything else the guy gave her a red card(fail)
so I was under the impression I was screwed. Well monday i get a call as im on the way home from class saying they got another red card but it was from a person that comes in everyday to buy a pack of cigs that even went to school with this employees daughter... and she knew her personally......
its a bunch of BS but nothing I can do but hope I can get another job :(
