My comment was directed in response to 3SS's statement that other teams could film, which is correct, however the rules state that it can't be done from certain angles. You stated this was illogical and didn't have common sense, there is nothing illogical, nor any lack of common sense about it at all.
So because the PATS were within the rules by filming, though outside by doing it from an improper angle, hence my reply. If bending the rules as you see fit is acceptable, why have rules at all?
Your reply was to "not throw out the baby with the bath water". That doesn't apply at all. Because that still implies that the violation wasn't completely wrong, because they are allowed to film.
That's like saying because a guy bought a gun legally, he wasn't totally wrong because he used it to rob a bank.
Not passing judgement just stating fact.
You didn't state anything in your post about the PATS breaking the rules.
Rules were made to be followed. The NFL passed the proper judgement already.
