My wife is a 30+ years RN, I'm in IT... all she wants to watch is medical shows and documentaries on medical garbage, then talk about medical garbage.
I'll hear a catch phrase here and there, and nod and mumble back medical garbage, it keeps the peace.
She asked me about work a few times, and I started dumping acronyms... that stopped.
