Probably. Springfield loaded is a closer match to the gold cup. Whatever you get him will return to you one day..... just something to consider.
Maybe that seems insensitive, but it isn't. Enjoy your dad while he's around. One day he'll be gone, but that memory of shooting with your dad will stay. One gun you'll never sell.
