But didn't Matt Ryan just win the NFL MVP award? Don't you dance with the girl you brought to the dance? Doesn't a completed pass keep the clock running, even if you go out of bounds and it isn't the final 5:00 minutes of the fourth quarter? Isn't Atlanta a passing team? Hind site is 20/20, they passed because that's what they do. They were running incredible well in the first half and had a big gainer in the second half. But three sacks on third down when they needed to pass to get enough yardage to get the first killed their drives, or better yet, the Pats defense stiffed them the entire second half.
