X-rays showed degenerative disks in 3 lower back disks, bone spurs & scoliosis causing one hip to be a little lower than the other. Great. :( I got electronic stimulation & a chiropractic adjustment & some gel stuff to apply. Return appointment on Monday. I sure hope this helps. I hate being in pain.

I feel your pain, I've had degenerative arthritis for years; started in my upper vertebra/disks and, a few years ago, started in my lower vertebra/disks. Went through a lot of what you are/have been in regards to pain and treatments. None of the treatments worked for my lower back. Recently was referred to a pain management doctor (as I'm not ready to have surgery or take pain pills). He gave me a cortisone shot that almost immediately relieved the constant pain and eased the pain when I walk or stand for long periods. He said it may take up to 3 more shots over the course of the next couple of months (each about 2-3 weeks apart) before the pain is minimized. Best of luck to you and hope they quickly find a treatment that helps
