On a more serious note I think Ford should have opened the 3.5 up to its designed limit of 4.0L. That would have made a health increase in output without compromising the aero, weight, and overall packaging.

Believe me, I'm not knocking the car, the GT is an awesome machine, but it is not going to be at the top of that heap with how that worked out...
Not sure why they didn't, maybe revs? But in all honesty I was kinda thinking this thing would have had at least over 700 ponies. Maybe another version with more boost or something is in the pipeline in a year or so, who knows.
Lucky for Ford buyers in that category usually have multiple cars, so they may have a 488, 675 and a GT in their garage...
