I see absolutely zero business case for a new Monte Carlo.
Why do we need another two door sports (sporty-ish?) car? It would compete directly with the Camaro.
If there is anything in the realm of performance voids that GM should fill, its to replace the SS sedan with a new version riding on Alpha, and a performance version of the Cruze.
Hell, I think a street performance version of the Colorado or Silverado make more sense than a Monte Carlo.
