What I did in 2015 was make it a day and a half drive. Went down to Ohio on the first day, visited the Air Force museum near Dayton on the morning of the 2nd & went on to Bowling Green in the afternoon. On the way back, I hit up the Corvette Museum before stopping back in Ohio, then had a full day of driving after that. I could have gone all the way there or back in a single day ... but I know I would have been absolutely zonked by the end of it. Especially on the return run: parking lot parties at the 'Fest have a tendency to eat up a lot of hours that would otherwise be spent sleeping.

The crux of it is that there aren't enough V6ers that want to race. I think one year somebody won the V6 class by default.
There is always room for improvement, but we still have to work with what we're given.
