That is indeed the truth. Though it is a shame to not only see the loss of the cars themselves, Falcon and the RWD Commodore, but also the "spirit" that these two cars represented.
The markets ever diminishing enthusiasts are ever being replaced by those who simply need an appliance to get them from point A to point B.
Cars used to represent freedom, not just a mode of transportation. They used to take us to meet friends, go on dates, or just lose yourself for a moment. All that has been replaced by the internet. Those of us who understand this will lament the loss of two great cars and those who don't understand probably won't even notice.
