We have a zillion little ground squirrels (we call them gophers), chucks, and prairie dogs. It's a normal summer past time to hunt them. The LR rifles get some use then.
I've got an accurate .222 Rem in a Cooper single shot, the .223 AI Rem 700, a few accurate .223 AR's, a .220 Swift and a .17 hmr CZ. They all get put to good use.
Don't big game hunt anymore....Still have too many BG rifles too.
