After getting out, off to 90 meetings in 90 days. And regular attendance to the 12 step program on the outside after that. Guys I attended meetings with- a couple of them actually knew Dr Bob and Bill W. , the founders of AA. I lived near Akron. I was privileged to have known and learn from those old-timers.
That was 1983. December 2nd to be exact.
Seems to have worked one day at a time, and if I stay sober tomorrow, will have been 33 years since that last drink.
