Learned to drive on a 1981 Chevette 4 speed manual. Floorboards and shock towers were rusted through, brakes were horrendous. Pretty much the worst. But somehow it did survive 3 kids learning to drive stick on it. Had a few GM cars since then (Saturn, Olds, Pontiac, all RIP), but never a Chevy until now.
