I tend to like a light trigger in a rifle. My big game rifles are all no more than 4 pounds. My varmint guns are all 2 or a bit under.

I have a few LR steel rifles with Jewell and Timneys set at 4 or 6 OUNCES.

My .223 AI shown here is a 6 OZ Timney.

One does have to be careful with light triggers, but most of these don't get carried around loaded too much. Most times they go from the truck to the bench or mat and thats' it.
