Nice purchase Rick! Sounds like a pretty good financial year for some of us Old Farts. Finally settling our parents estate allowed my sisters & I to all become debt free & put away a good bit for retirement. Sad way to financial freedom but thankful for it. It is interesting but sort of sad to see what someone else did to our family home & the mini farm we worked so hard on is turning into a nice subdivision. I am amazed that my parents managed to go from having nothing to planning well enough for both of them to be well cared for through their final years & serious illnesses and that much left over. I am sure missing my parents today though. My Facebook memory this morning made me cry but I am so glad I recorded it. Dad was already in assisted living & this was the last Thanksgiving we had outside the facility as a family. Dad had lost a lot of his mental capacity but could still say grace. Here is is.
