i think the TRD pro is a ripoff, you can do way better for less by doing coilovers and UCA. it doesnt have widebody or anything hard to do better aftermarket.

It's not a claim. Check page 176-177 of the owners manual.
87 is fine. Recommend 91 for peak performance in heat and towing.
