That was the voice mail.. Essentially when I called him back he explained that my mom will drive the Explorer since they're close enough to Kistler for any major work. If it dies outright then she can have my did give her a lift to work. My brother's car is in the same condition but mechanically, aside from a cooling issue and no A/C, it's good for his purposes. He doesn't drive it much (100 miles a month?) and rarely comes home so they're fine with him keeping his car.
I drive almost 18K miles a year, so they couldn't take the chance with me driving that truck when it could peter out altogether stranding me in Kalamazoo with no way to get to class (30 miles away in Battle Creek).
Can't afford a new car either (for me or my brother) so here we are.
