That's because of the inventory glut allowing new ones to sell for 20-25% off sticker. So you were probably lucky to get $30K for it, considering you could find a new one for 10% or so more, but not always in the color or options somebody may want.
anyway - congrats! I went the other way, had 2 C6's, C5Z and a C4 and this is my first Camaro since the 3rd gen!
