Go look at real estate values sometime. Compare a home with a pool that is smaller with lower end materials to a larger one without a pool and high quality materials in a similar area.
It isn't my opinion or my toughts. It's a fact. The latter will be worth more. Pools can actually drop property values because that often cause insurance rates to increase and or looked at as a liability.
I know what you're saying about that some people don't look at V8s as an upgrade. That's just them trying to justify it in their own mind for whatever reason. Who cares what anyone drives? I don't, and I don't think any less or anymore of anyone that drives whatever, but going from a V6 camaro to a V8 is most certainly an upgrade. Just as going from an LS Camaro to an LT is.
The idea of someone deciding if any particular upgrade has any value to them personally is a personal choice. If they don't see the value in that upgrade, they don't buy it. That doesn't automatically make it not an upgrade.
