i drive what i like.the 6 cylinder is just as powerful as many of the old school v-8s in the musclecar era without having to own a gas station.i sold a 1966 pontiac i had owned for 25 years and restored to show condition because 8-10 mpg got expensive pretty quick (400,cam,headers,judge intake and carb) when gas was 4 bucks a gallon.i dont think it will stay under 3 bucks forever,and i intend to be prepared when it goes up.i have a few friends with v-8s.most of them actually dont drive any faster than i do,but they love to sit at car shows with the hood up to show off that v-8.if thats your thing,fine,but im over it.
