I never knew he had two Carrera GT's wrecked in two previous films...quite possibly because
THEY WEREN'T ENZO'S!!! Which means after his second wreck, he didn't get the recognition he wanted. Here's how I see it": he couldn't figure out why people weren't noticing the two previously wrecked luxury cars and why he wasn't getting the free publicity. The jerk finally figured it out and said...."Let's do the Enzo this time....that'll make it to CNN and the entire internet!"
So now he's had 3 luxury cars destoryed.
