It was a promo event for the movie 'Redline'
I feel no pain for the producer, anyone who puts a car like that in the hands of an inexperienced driver needs to understand the risk.
It does suck for sure, but he gave the green light for Griffin to drive it
Also, if it was a stunt, $1.5 Million can buy quite a bit of advertising

Then again, insurance
may pay off the car and the advertising is free. Hmmmmm
They wreck cars/trucks every day for movies TV, this Enzo is no different IMO.
Hell, it may have been a kit car that LOOKED just like one if this is a publicity stunt...
