So, if an officer has RADAR, the doppler shift is capable to be utilized fore, aft, both or moving.

While in motion, the RADAR unit calculates the speed of the patrol vehicle against the forward progress of the target vehicle and speed is determined. Units MUST be calibrated and I usually calibrate mine beginning of day, whenever I write a ticket, and at end of day.

A Google search would have clarified the misconception of what is known and what is percieved to be known.
a friend of mine once went to court and started explaining all the reasons why the officers radar could be inaccurate. When the judge asked him how he knew so much he said "I'm a radar repair specialist for F4 fighters in the Air Force.". Case dismissed
