ok... in my experience, that's how it's been.
the manual parts in my old 90 festiva & in the 99 sierra never gave me any problems while my 91 explorer lost the driver's rear window & the passenger's front window was going. on mom's 01 excursion, the driver's window goes about halfway down then stops unless you keep pushing it down; the rear quarter windows only open when they want to; the rear hatch is the only reliable power lock - the other 4 doors occasionally work without having to be hand/key operated. to give power stuff credit, my brother's old 94 suburban locks/windows all work just fine.



as for seats, manual ones are just easier to keep set where you like it & if somebody moves it, it goes right back into that notch where it feels right
