One advantage the Mustang convertible has over the Camaro is trunk space. Our Mustang has plenty of trunk space, but more importantly the trunk is completely segregated from the top. So, we load up the trunk with our luggage on our trips to Destin. Once off the interstate, I simply drop the top. I don't have to pull any separator or cover in the trunk before lowering the top.
