Yeah, they seem overpriced until you know what you're getting--basically a hatchback Audi S3. 292 hp, AWD, but also the perfect blend of economy, practicality, and performance. Stock DSG automatics (like mine) have been recorded doing 4.5-sec. 0-60s. I picked this one up for $35,600 (2k lower than MSRP), so nowhere near S3 money.
