This campaign will do exactly what GM needs to happen. And that is to get people into GM cars. With such a bold, comprehensive promise of "money-back if you don't like it", it will do exactly that. The goal? That people flood GM dealerships and try out there cars, perhaps some with the intent of giving it back and buying a Toyota anyways....but the vast majority will find out that their GM car is very impressive, and they'll keep it. Cha-ching GM.

As for the "fine print"... They put that in there to protect against car-hopping morons who would take advantage of the program. Chances are, somebody won't like the car and will go and buy a competitor with that money-back...I assure you Toyota will find a way to get them credit.

And finally...I refuse to get into this debate anymore, because it's ridiculous, and over with...but what does GM's loans, etc have to do with this program?
hey thats fine your entitled to that opinion.

and yes i agree it will get people into the dealerships.........however i think a major percentage will turn away once they discover the fine print.

we'll see.

dont get me wrong here.........i want GM to succeed? why? because it means jobs........jobs mean car buying power........car buying power means accessories and etc..........making the economy better.

i simply think that GM should offer a 60 day refund policy with no fine print or dont do it at all.

but we agree on one thing.........lets get these dumb car companies out of the hole and back to being big employers
