Burt is a legend and since this is based off the Bandit film it will be a collectable.
You must not watch auctions.

Agreed. Look at all the little dealer add-ons the first gen Camaros that didn't amount to much back then but triple or quadruple the value of the car vs a base model at auction. When I lived in Florida, I knew an older couple in Homosassa who collected vintage, number matching 68-69 Camaros. This guy had mint SS/RS cars, Yenkos, etc and they were worth big money. Some of these options didn't cost a lot but were extremely limited and now that is what collectors seek. I've got not doubt these Bandit cars will get a ridiculous price in a few years, I wish I had the money to buy one, I'd have the sucker on a rack and covered in a climate controlled garage because it will be worth serious cash. Burt can't have too many more miles left in him, these will skyrocket when he hits that highway in the sky. I'm glad he did this, I've always liked Mr Reynolds. I'd want to park this in my garage right next to an Orginal 77 Bandit Trans Am and the one Gas Monkey Garage built a few years ago, what a sweet little collection that would be.
