No, the global TrailBlazer is built off the global Colorado's platform. It's a traditional BOF RWD/4WD SUV, a literal successor to the GMT-360.

2nd gen Acadia is on SWB C1XX, which is basically the new crossover variant of the new E2XX platform that underpins the new Malibu and new LaCrosse. Cadillac XT5 is on the same SWB platform, while 2nd gen Traverse and Enclave will be on the LWB variant.

So that SWB C1XX platform is what will likely underpin the new midsize Chevrolet utility, unless the planets align and GM does bring the global TrailBlazer stateside. And even then there would still be a case for a FWD/AWD C1XX alongside it.

Basically the GM utility lineup will look like this...

Subcompact CUV: G1XX Trax/Encore (replaced by 9BXX CUVs later this decade adding Cadillac XT1)
Compact CUV: D2XX Equinox/Terrain/Envision (2016-2017)
Midsize CUV: C1XX Chevrolet (Blazer?)/Acadia/XT5
Fullsize CUV: C1XX Traverse/(Acadia XL?)/Enclave/(XT7?)
Fullsize SUV: K2XX Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade/Suburban/Yukon XL/Escalade ESV
