I've told it before, earlier in this thread.....but I'll repost for any newbie's reading the thread.

When Monique and I met 3 years ago she was 206lbs at 5'2"....and it wasn't muscle :-( 9 months later when we went on vacation to Mexico her final weigh in was 129lbs.....77lbs in 9 months. She trained 2x a day, running sprints early in the morning and doing her weight training at night. This combined with a solid eating plan produced the results.

She did while being a single mom with twins, 2 dogs, and working a full time job. You can do it, but you have to want it bad enough to make the sacrifices and put the work in to achieve desired results.

She currently walks around between 135-139.
oh, you could tell the legs were all power. They really stand out on her.

And you nailed it and people just don't seem to get it. If you want it, you have to work for it. And when you say work, you are talking about busting your ass, making sacrifices and being smart. All while having a some-what normal life makes it even more difficult to obtain. But if you want it, you have to work for it. There are no shortcuts, easy days in the gym, skimping on meals.. it's a daily challenge, and you have to win with all your decisions to make improvements.

Can anyone do it. Yes. Do all people make that type of commitment, no. But those that do, are so much better off physically, mentally and have a better life.

I bow to Monique, she is an example of success in many different ways.
