I'd certainly not put down your choices on a new ride, but I would bet my tax-free paycheck that a Cobalt SS Turbo would mop up any road/track with a Mini Cooper S. You're talking a 0-60 of 5.7 for the Cobalt SS versus 0-60 in 7.4 for the Mini... Just sayin. It's all in what you want, but I'd suggest taking a test drive or two before you make any decisions.

Oh and about those Mitsubishi Lancers... they have HORRIBLE resale values.
