You`re very right concerning street racing and Woodward Ave. being the unofficial test grounds for Hi-performance development during the sixties but it was also during and a little before this period that sanctioned racing groups like the NHRA, AHRA were born to take drag racing off the street and to put it in a safer enviroment.
The tracks are there if you choose to use them or if you choose to street race you will also have to accept the consequences of death, crippling injuries and lawsuits.
It`s your choice, if you choose street racing and you kill or maim me or mine be aware of the lawsuits and a life time of guilt for your actions.
