Its a bit less for ethanol, a bit more for diesel. But the point is, burning a specific amount of fuel results in a specific amount of CO2. Electrification will improve fuel economy, just as it improves emissions for the exact same reason: when driving on electricity you are not burning any fuel, getting infinite miles per gallon and producing 0 emissions.
