well if you're gonna wait for the camaro, then why not just wait for the mustang redesign (that is, if you favor the mustang). And pick which design you prefer.
imo though, it sounds like the camaro is gonna knock the socks off both the mustang & the challenger.
I'd consider the challenger as a possible threat - as long as it wasn't orange with black stripes...
Because as we all know - the paint job of a car determines the fate of the race.
nah but really, the camaro is a much cooler car. and it'll outlast the challenger (in number of years existing), and it'll outlast the mustang (in number of races).
especially if you're considering the current model v6 mustang. that's gonna be crap VS. the camaro V6, unless you get a V8 (mustang). (which I guess the GT is?..) but even then..it sucks to have to get a V8 to beat a V6...and Still have a substandard car.
