Part of the problem with the new Z06 is in the way the supercharger and coolers are packaged. Just not enough room under that low hood to fit a free flowing design. I read an article that said on a 68 degree day the IAT's after the cooler are "less than 120 degrees". Still very hot intake air that will lead to timing being trimmed.
